Nov 09, 2023

The Swedish hand made Bolljävlar Wooden Grips are now available to purchase. The Bolljävlar is a hand made grips with round balls that feature ARRI Rosette mounts.

They are available in different wood types, and initially, Atendi will be making them in oak and teak.

The balls are 6cm / 2.36″ in diameter. As they are handmade, some variations might be noticeable in size, shape, and look. Both versions are treated with non-toxic coating using linseed oil and bee's wax.

According to Atendi, the Bolljävlar hand made Wooden Grips offer perfect support in the palm of your hand, which in turn, frees up your fingers for other uses, like pulling focus, and adjusting iris, without letting go of the handle. The Bolljävlar does not get affected by weather in the same way rubber and metal handles do.

If you are not familiar with Atendi, they are a Scandinavian-based company that has been around for 100 years. They have offices in Drammen, Kungälv, Stockholm and Copenhagen. ATENDI Scandinavia is an exclusive importer of leading brands within the industry and provides solutions for lighting, sound, stage, and audio visual applications.
