Hula Hooping! Bengaluru boy holds Guinness World Records : Welcome to Mysooru News
Bengaluru: The achievement of Prathyush is special because he learnt Hula Hooping on his own.
On July 18, 2022, Prathyush entered Guinness World Records for doing 124 Hula Hoop Rotations around the knees in 30 seconds.
Prathyush enjoys Hula Hooping and hopes to achieve more records in this field, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
His goal is to become a serial record breaker specialising in Hula Hooping.
Prathyush practiced Hula Hooping during the Covid-19 pandemic realising health is the first priority. It has always been a dream of his to etch a record of his own, so he began watching GWR videos on YouTube to derive inspiration.
Initially, he did it for fun but soon realised that he had a talent for it and began moving each day, which led towards a record attempt.
A self-motivated and fast learner with Hula Hoops, Prathyush practiced for almost seven months on his knee hooping technique, increasing the count each time.
Prathyush put a lot of effort into perfecting himself and looks forward in perfecting this technique further in ongoing summer vacation.
He is very proud to be the first Guinness World Records title holder in the family.
"This record will motivate me to try and overcome more challenges in my life", says Prathyush for whom it means the world, which has come true and believes it as an honour to be named among many other record holders.
